Princess Melia is a 21-year-old, innovative, versatile, and proudly Indigenous singer-songwriter and multimedia artist. She is breaking down the barriers of genre and shattering expectations. Her heavenly melodic voice combined with her deep, catchy, and poetic lyrics will sink into the deepest parts of your mind.

Melia was born and raised in the capital city of the cold territory of Yukon. She began singing as soon as she started talking, developing the talent throughout her early life with musicals, performances, singing in a band, and releasing music using Garageband. Today, she is based in Toronto and has amassed over 23,000 streams across all platforms. She is now on the verge of graduating from the Harris Institute Music Business Professional Program and is currently enrolled in Seneca College for fashion.

On July 3rd 2022, Princess Melia curated, hosted, and headlined her own evening at the Adaka Cultural Festival. She was also one of the two main performers at the sold-out Adaka Fashion Show, playing for a crowd of 250+ people. These were only two performances of her tour across the Yukon this past summer with Label North Gold Entertainment.

Now Melia is working on her debut album, the unique concept focusing around her versatility and duality. This album will encompass two ideas, yin and yang, both breathing life into the other.
